Garden News (UK) - - Contents -

Spent growbags that had tomatoes or other crops in this year needn’t be wasted. If the crops had anything wrong with them that was soil-based, you must discard the compost in the general rubbish. However, if the compost is clean of pests and diseases it’s a good bulk ingredient for your compost heap, or can also be deposited onto borders as a mulch. It’ll have few nutrients in it now, but will still serve as useful organic matter.
