Raised beds

You can make all sorts of shapes of planters from pallets, including small or large raised beds. It’s so easy, too! Line up the pallets in the shape you want, halved if you don’t want them that high, and nail together. Reinforce the centres with further pallets or pieces of wood, and use thin widths of wood to reinforce the top edges. Then infill with weed membrane or landscape fabric, fastening securely with staples. Now you can fill it with compost and plant up!
