CLEAR AWAY THE LAST OF THE LEAVES

-

Now that the autumn foliage has fallen and deciduous trees are bare, it’s well worth having a final check around the garden to get rid of the last few leaves that are lurking in corners. No matter how thorough you are at leaf clearing, some always blow in and by this time of the year they’re wet and starting to rot down. Any on soil borders below shrubs can be left to break down in the soil and for wildlife, but on paths and patios, it’s best to remove soggy leaves as they’re a slip hazard.
