Add colour and fragrance with phlox

-

Our Fragrant Collection of Phlox paniculata is a magnificent mix of four different colours of this richly scented perennial. Throughout summer, large panicles of perfumed flowers rise on upright stems above the bright green foliage. Their tall stems are loved by insects, and also make superb cut flowers. They’re perfect for the middle of borders. H: 90cm (3ft), S: 60cm (2ft). Our collection comprises:

‘Nicky’ is one of the darkest varieties of fragrant phlox, and shows good resistance to mildew, too. The blooms persist for weeks, attracting pollinating insects, although it’s well worth cutting a few stems for a vase indoors. Plant it in large groups for impact.

‘Laura’ produces fragrant clusters of delicate, purple petals throughout summer and early autumn.

‘Orange Perfection’ produces a blaze of large, salmon-orange flower heads with a rich, sweet perfume throughout summer. With a clumpforming habit, it’s at its best when planted in groups to create a bold splash of colour towards the middle of borders.

‘White Admiral’ is a magnificent perennial producing large panicles of white flowers all summer.
