Pot up a Christmas container
Keep up the winter cheer – Christmas is no excuse for bare, boring containers! Use your Christmas money and pop to the garden centre to find the most colourful plants you can, which will work contained in pots. Paint your pot, make sure it drains well and fill it with compost. Start with an array of mini fir trees and plant around them, decorating the pot at the end with tinsel or ribbon. What a welcoming sight!
