TOP TIPS

Run the engine until the petrol tank is dry and keep the fuel cap on to prevent dust ge ing in the tank.

Tilt the mower and scrape off old grass clippings from under the cu ing deck, wash and oil to prevent rust.

Give the top of the mower a wash and clean to get rid of grass and dirt that’s built up over the season.

With electric mowers, wash them down to remove old grass and check the cable for signs of wear and tear.
