Will parsley survive the winter outside?

But generally, the answer is yes, and I don’t find much difference between the curly varieties and the large-leaved or so-called Italian parsley. But that said, I always hedge my bets and have clumps in different places, although I always err on the side of caution and choose sheltered spots. I also hedge my bets even further and plant up some in a lovely old Victorian glass cloche with the cover slightly askew to aid ventilation. And do remember that parsley is biennial and will be pretty useless after its second year, although you can prolong it to some degree by cutting off the flowering stems.
