My apple delight...

While enjoying the December 5 issue of GN, I was impressed by Nancy Bond’s large apple. She asked if other readers can beat it, so here’s my ‘Howgate Wonder’ apple at 800g (1¾lb). We also had a ‘Concorde’ pear that weighed 440g (around 15oz). Andy Mortimer, Wiltshire
