SLATE-LOOKING PLANTERS

My spiky tall plants had grown too big for their pots. I couldn’t afford the lovely slate ones I wanted so when I saw some boxy wooden bar stools out for the dustbin men I had a brainwave. With some plywood begged from our local wood yard and a tin of paint, my husband and I turned the upside-down stools into slate-looking pots. Very happy with them! Pat Grubb, by email
