MONEY-SAVING HELPER

Having lost my job this year, money is tight. So here’s my makeshift solution for a cold frame – plastic storage boxes. They may not look as good as some of the lovely wooden ones, but they seem to be doing the trick so far. A very cheap, quick and easy solution. The money I’ve been able to save by taking out a subscription to Garden News is helpful and I’d encourage anyone in a similar situation as myself to do the same. Along with the free seeds each week, it’s been so helpful providing thrifty ideas and planting tips to save cash during these difficult times. Mark, Coventry
