Give your snowdrops a boost

With a fairly warm autumn, snowdrops are pu ing in an appearance earlier than usual. They look lovely grown in pots, but they’ll need regular feeding (tomato food is ideal) and po ing on. In the ground, snowdrops like plenty of light when in growth and, on free-draining or poor soil, fa en them up by feeding. They’ll appreciate a leaf-mould or compost mulch, although they dislike both unro ed manure and being smothered by a thick layer of bark. Reward these demands and next year they’ll be a joy to see!
