Survey finds woodland birds are under threat, with numbers dropping by more than a quarter
Britain’s woodland birds are under threat, with the populations of some species plummeting, a new study has found. The RSPB’s State of the UK’s Bird 2020 report showed an overall decline of 27 per cent in the fortunes of woodland birds since the early 1970s, with declines of seven per cent evident over the past five years.
