RHS cancels early show but hopes still high for Chelsea

Due to the latest Covid restrictions, the RHS has cancelled its Early Spring Show, scheduled for February 12 to 14 at RHS Garden Hyde Hall in Essex. This show has now been consolidated into the RHS Garden Hyde Hall Spring and Orchid Show, running from April 9 to 11.

“With the latest Government measures to reverse the spread of the virus, along with the roll out of the mass vaccination programme, we are continuing to plan with positivity”, said an RHS spokesperson.

“We remain confident that, come May, we will be able to hold the RHS Flower Shows as planned, including the world famous RHS Chelsea Flower Show. We’re working closely with local authorities, emergency services and partners to ensure our shows can return safely this year.”

For 2021, Chelsea (May 18 to 23) has limited visitor capacity to 140,000, but with an extra day added on Sunday, May 23. Tickets for the two members’ days (May 18 and 19) have already sold out, but public day tickets (May 20 to 23) are still available.
