A new crop of potatoes
While in the planting mood, I have an empty bin in my greenhouse that once held carrots. This soon is the home for five of my early potatoes. They’re placed in compost 12.5cm (5in) deep and covered to keep them frost free. As these finally emerge they’ll continue to be buried until the bin is eventually full.
