MAP IT OUT

I’ve learnt to map all the new gardens I move into – it saves a lot of time, hassle and money if you know exactly where the sun falls each day in every season in the garden. Of course, you should know where the sun rises and sets, but on a sunny day, also check at least every hour where the sun falls on each spot in the garden. It will help you decide what plants will suit what area best.
