STEP BY STEP
1 Make sure young plants are well rooted before repotting. Fresh roots growing through the drainage holes is a good sign. 2 Give plants a soak. Remove weeds on the soil surface. Choose pots that allow good growth, such as 7.5cm (3in) pots. 3 Use fresh compost. A good, multi-purpose compost with added loam is best to provide nutrients as the plants grow.
4 Place compost in the pots so plants are at the correct level, add more compost, avoiding air spaces at edges, and water.
