Top topiary

If the patio is looking a little ‘flat’, a topiary pyramid will act as a living statue through the year. Yew and box are slow growing so best bought as tall as possible. Lonicera nitida is a quicker grower and can be trained up a wire topiary frame. All evergreen topiary plants need regular watering and planting in John Innes compost to keep them looking lush and green. Feeding once a month with general-purpose liquid plant food will help keep them looking vibrant.
