DEFEND GREENHOUSE PLANTS FROM APHIDS

-

Outdoors we usually get a little respite from aphids (greenfly) between autumn and spring; however, in the greenhouse they can be present all year round. What’s more, greenfly quickly build up as temperatures rise and days lengthen, so be vigilant and take steps to curb them if you notice an infestation. This bluebell creeper (sollya), a tender, evergreen climber, is being kept in the greenhouse and sprayed with an organic aphid pesticide – you can try Doff or Neudorff products, or try plant invigorators such as SB Plant Invigorator or Ecofective, which also stimulate plant growth. Reapply as needed and stated on the packet.
