HANDY HINTS
● Propagating tender plants on a regular basis helps to keep the stock healthy and vigorous.
● If you root several cuttings around the edge of a pot, they can be left in the pot to tick over until early March and then potted into individual pots to grow on.
● Through the winter, pelargoniums prefer compost that’s just moist. If too wet, they’re more prone to rotting off.
● To overwinter the rooted cuttings, you need to provide light, frost-free growing conditions with a minimum temperature of around 7C.
