Tips for growing agapanthus
1 Always choose a sunny spot; they really need a warm, sheltered place 2 to thrive. We find gravelly soil is best – our clumps beside the seating area flower earlier than the ones in the border and they stay in 3 place all year round. The plants benefit from dividing every few years, though take some time to flower after. The agapanthus in our garden came from one original plant.
