● Wisteria can take a few years to flower so be patient and for the first few years, concentrate on establishing the framework.

● If you’re only able to prune once a year, the late-summer prune is the most important.

● Old, overgrown plants can be hard pruned in winter to encourage new growth that can be trained to new shape.
