Can I use cider vinegar to treat tomato leaf mould?

Stefan says: You have read an article suggesting to treat tomato leaf mould with cider vinegar and wonder what dilution to use. This is my second query recently about using vinegar to treat garden problems and I can only say I know of no scientific evidence for it. If the article also published some trials data, I might take it seriously, but as it is, I have no idea what dilution would be appropriate.

Of course, if you have faith in vinegar as a treatment, try different dilutions or contact the magazine that recommended it for advice and let me know what happens.

I do wonder whether it really is tomato leaf mould, which is really not very common. I think your tomatoes might more likely be affected by botrytis grey mould, but without seeing the symptoms, I can’t be sure.
