Here’s a top tip for growing fresh vegetables, in this instance runner beans – just grow them in pots. I use a wigwam style cane structure and get a decent crop every year. Cheap and easy, and taking up such a small area. I also leave a few beans to grow very large and then retrieve the seeds from them and dry them out ready for next year so I never have to buy seeds again. Fresh food for free during these difficult financial times. It’s a win-win situation!
