Sow perpetual spinach

-

Perpetual spinach or ‘spinach beet’ is easy to sow, grow and delicious to eat. Get those seeds in the ground now and enjoy nutritious leaves, high in vitamins A, C and K. Direct sow in rows, or you can sow in pots. Pick young leaves and harvest regularly. Perpetual spinach is great value as a few seeds will develop into long-lasting leafy produce that should keep providing food for up to two years before going to seed. It grows to around 50cm tall and is hardy, resilient on dry soils and not prone to bolting. It makes a fabulous autumn and winter crop.
