Project makes cafés for bugs
Apprentices from the Eden Project in Cornwall have created a network of ‘Buzz Stops’ in nearby communities to bring plant life and pollinators to bus stops. From year-round flowering planters to moon gardens for night pollinators, the Buzz Stops will help a range of insects. Juliet Rose, Eden’s community programmes development manager, said: “Buzz Stops are a bit like transit cafés providing sustenance as insects move through our communities.”
