PULL UP BOLTED PARSLEY
Parsley is a biennial, meaning it grows one year and runs to seed and dies in the second year. However, the heat and drought of summer has stressed lots of plants and they’ve ‘bolted’. Once the plants start to bloom there’s no turning back and the plants will no longer produce useful foliage. So the plants should be pulled up. There’s time to sow more seeds and these can be overwintered in a greenhouse or planted out in a sheltered spot for winter use.
