At this time of year you’ll be harvesting autumn raspberries by the bowlful. Varieties such as ‘Joan J’, ‘Autumn Bliss’ and ‘Polka’ produce large, juicy fruit, perfect for blending in a smoothie. High in fibre, vitamins C and K, folate and potassium, raspberries contribute to bone and skin health and are actually low in natural sugar. Ideal for freezing, just scatter a handful in a smoothie whenever you need them.
