BUILD YOUR OWN POTTED BULB LASAGNE!

Creating a bulb lasagne allows you to maximise your containers by planting bulbs in two or more layers.

Use a large, deep container that has a drainage hole at the bottom and good quality peat-free compost.

Add crocks to cover the drainage hole, then add your first layer of compost. Plant the largest bulbs on the bottom layer first, then cover with compost. Now plant the middle-sized bulbs, then add more compost and finally add the smallest bulbs and cover with compost.

Place your container in a sunny spot, where you can enjoy the flowers in spring.
