Hopefully you’ll have a few hanging chilli pepper jewels gracing your windowsill plants at the moment. They’re best harvested in autumn and even right up until Christmas. If you don’t immediately have use for lots of chillies or would like to store them for later, try drying them. String them up in a warm place until shrivelled or lay them in the sun for a day or two if we’re lucky enough to get more warm weather. Store them in airtight jars until you need them.
