Nectaroscordum siculum

-

A relation of alliums, Nectaroscordum siculum is resistant to deer and rabbits, yet adored by bees. In May and June, their unusual flowers hang down decoratively, moving upright as they go to seed. The plants seed readily, lasting well as a dried flower. Plant 15cm deep in light, sandy soils, or in containers in full sun. TOP TIP Combine with aquilegia ‘Nora Barlow’ for a pretty, antique

look. Height 1m
