Kathy’s favourite plants...
Lavender ‘Munstead’
Lavender is a mainstay and large clumps now fill the formal beds by our topiary jury. I use it fresh in cakes.
Gladiolus murielae
Beautiful in borders and pots and around the fish pool, this late-flowering gladiolus has pure white, fragrant flowers.
Calamagrostis acutiflora ‘Overdam’
Green and white striped leaves in spring, purpley feathery flower heads.
Malus ‘Gorgeous’
Laden with blossom and fruits, this crab apple is a winner for wildlife and a lovely ornamental tree.
