Narcissus ‘Grand Soleil d’Or’

-

This variety is a multi-flowered, floriferous daffodil with a powerfully sweet and intoxicating fragrance. Each flowering stem produces an average of 10 flowers, with sunshine yellow petals and orange cups. Mature bulbs produce a number of flowering stems, which are more resistant to inclement weather than single-flowered daffodils, and their flowering display lasts longer, too. TOP TIP For the best effect, plant ‘Grand Soleil d’Or’ 10-15cm deep in large groups or swathes in sunshine or partial shade. Plant the blue-flowered form of Anemone blanda in front to create a pretty border that’s full of the joys of spring. Height 70cm
