Anemone nemorosa

This spring anemone is an utterly charming little plant. Its soft white, starshaped flowers light up the ground under deciduous trees, bringing joy and sheer delight to the garden. Anemone nemorosa spreads slowly, so buy more tubers than you’ll need. Soak the tubers overnight in a bucket of water. Plant tubers horizontally, 5cm deep in drifts under deciduous trees, along paths and in shaded areas. TOP TIP Plant with bluebells, primroses, and other fellow woodland plants. Height 15cm
