Top tips for a sensory plot

-

1 Think about what it is you wish to create and why – no two sensory gardens should look the same. You may want bright colours or soothing ones, lots of scent or different sounds. But it doesn’t have to include everything!

2 With this garden one of the key aspects was making it flow from the house and that’s often a good rule of thumb as you have decorated the house in the way you want, so a garden that complements that look should be in tune with it.

3 Make sure you give yourself space for plenty of seating. It’s tempting to fill the garden with plants and features, but you have to make sure you can enjoy it too! And by adopting the right colours it can also fit into your sensory garden theme.
