STEP BY STEP

1 Dig a hole just deep enough so the crown can sit just below the surface.

2 Place the crown into the hole, with enough room for the thick roots.

3 Backfill compost around the crown, with the foliage and buds just visible.

4 Water well and continue to monitor moisture levels in dry periods.
