CHIPPING AWAY

Looking for a creative way of using up a ‘mountain’ of chippings from a recently removed leylandii hedge, I decided to put a deep layer on the floor of my new greenhouse. It’s warm and soft to stand on and due to the composting action it keeps the greenhouse several degrees warmer.
