Tips for grass care

1 Collect seed from grasses now to sow in spring.

2 If grasses start to look messy, comb them gently with your fingers to remove any loose or broken fronds. Only cut back once a year, in February.

3 Autumn is a good time to plant new grasses. Add some horticultural grit to the planting hole if they’re varieties that prefer drier conditions.
