REMOVE POT SAUCERS ON PLANTS IN POTS OUTSIDE
After all the rushing around in summer trying to keep plants in pots watered, we have to change our routine in time with the seasons and now we must ensure that plants in pots aren’t waterlogged for the next six months. This means removing any saucers under the pots and raising the plants on pot feet, if possible. This is also the perfect opportunity to clear away all those fallen leaves and dead flowers that have accumulated around the base of the pots and will be harbouring slugs and snails. It’s a good opportunity for a clean up.
