Cut back overhanging plants from paths

-

Plant-lined paths are a thing of beauty but as the warm rays of summer fade to firmly embrace cold and wet days, these aspirational, foliage-strewn paths become more of an annoyance rather than a whimsical cottage garden dream. Wet legs from brushing past morning dew or rainfall-laden stems is irritating. Be brave and have a chop back to keep your path accessible! From a safety point of view, keeping your path clear of foliage will also ensure you can see where you’re walking and avoid mishaps.
