Falling in love again
Lockdown reignited my love of my garden. Although it’s small, I felt so lucky to have the luxury of some outside space. I really enjoyed the peacefulness and I found pottering around in my garden very therapeutic during that time. Therefore, I thought I would share a ‘before’ and ‘after’ picture of what was a rather dull corner. I can’t take all the credit as my husband had the hard task of removing the old tree and replacing and painting the fence before the makeover could begin. I’m very pleased with the result – it was a real team effort! The new plants are growing well and the David Austin rose ‘Scarborough Fair’ is just so delicate and pretty I couldn’t resist including a close-up picture.
