STEP BY STEP
1 After clearing the bed, fork in organic matter to feed and improve the soil to help the plants make good roots.
2 Lift the wallflowers just before planting or soak them in a tray of water for a few minutes to get the roots wet.
3 Plant 15-20cm apart, according to their ultimate height, and firm them in gently so they’re not blown over.
4 Once all wallflowers or other bedding plants have been planted, plant the tulip bulbs between, then water well.
