Plant your garden red, white and blue!
The nation’s gardeners are being urged to plant some patriotic blooms that will be in flower in time for the King’s coronation in May. The British Garden Centres chain is encouraging people to buy red and white tulip bulbs, which could work alongside muscari or bluebells to give a very celebratory feel to gardens up and down the country in time for the coronation on May 6. They’re all easy to grow and the effect could be striking if enough people answer the call!
