Acers

They just give off wonderful colour in autumn. So many different varieties to choose from, too!

Darmera peltata

This looks wonderful all year round but in autumn its foliage turns a lovely deep red.

Rodgersia ‘Buckland Beauty’

This does well in shade and is another that gives a great rich colour as the year goes on.

Cotinus coggygria ‘Royal Purple’

A terrific foliage plant later in the year – its leaves go an incredible purple colour.
