Decorating the garden

This is my 15-year-old Haemanthus albiflos plant, which is in full flower at the moment with 10 blooms. It was given to me as a young plant by a neighbour, who called it by its common name of paintbrush plant. In front of the main plant I’ve shown two seedlings, which are growing from last year’s seeds. Frank Sloan, by email
