Cool and bright
A conservatory or unheated greenhouse suits fleshy aeoniums and agaves and more tender plants such as cordyline and callistemon. Ensure the plants don’t get too hot during the day, and if the mercury plummets at night, use a small heater.
Many plants, including echiums, are reasonably cold tolerant if kept dry, so water sparingly and ventilate well to reduce the risk of rot.
