SHOWER POWER

Before having a shower I place the watering can inside the unit and lower the shower head to the can to collect the run-off cold water before it becomes warm. I collect about three-quarters of a can full, all good for the plants. Brian Gore, Blackpool Simon says: Great idea Brian, I’ve also heard of people placing a bucket by their feet in the shower to catch any run-off, and similarly saving water from the taps in the kitchen sink before it gets hot.
