TIPS FOR SUCCESSFUL PLANTING

When planting, use a controlledrelease fertiliser in the planting hole or mixed with the soil/compost. It will only feed the plants when they need it and it won’t burn the roots. Squirrels are one of the biggest tulip pests, especially just after planting. Plant the bulbs deeper than normal or place a sheet of chicken-wire mesh horizontally 2.5cm below the soil/ compost and 5cm above the bulbs.
