JADE PLANT
Want to get a friend or family member into gardening? Buy them a crassula, or jade plant, and they’ll get a really easy-care bit of greenery. They certainly won’t kill this one! Fresh green, succulent leaves sometimes edged in bright red will need no looking after, and green up homes nicely. Simply check once in a while that the top of the compost isn’t dry and water a little – and that’s it! It’s a good luck charm, often alternatively named the friendship plant or the money plant, so it’ll make a lovely gift.
