Why does my rose ‘Peace’ grow well but produce few flowers? I feed and manure it well.

‘Peace’ is a lovely and vigorous historic rose but my suspicion is that it’s having too much of a good thing. I’d suggest you feed it twice a year – in spring and again immediately after the first flowering – with a proprietary rose fertiliser and hold back on the manure.
