Simon Caney ‘MARTHA’
A few years ago I bought a ‘Martha’ rose from Peter Beales, purely for the sentimental reason it’s my daughter’s name. While it took a while to get going in its first year thanks to the weather, eventually it has produced some gloriously fragrant pink blooms. It’s a climber that can ultimately reach 2.7m tall and I’m hoping it will eventually clothe a fence – I’ve got (literally) high hopes!
